God's eternal blessings come from His eternal love.

"Surely Your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and  I will dwell in the House of the Lord for ever" (Psalm 23:6). For us, God's salvation begins while we are here on earth. They continue for "all the days of our life." His  blessings do not come to an end when we leave this world. His blessings are eternal - "I will dwell in the House of the Lord forever." "Your love, Lord reaches to the heavens ... How priceless is Your unfailing love, O God!" (Psalm 36:5,7). Where do God's eternal blessings come from? They come from His love, His eternal love, His love which endures forever (Psalm 136).

"Blessed is the one whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered" (Psalm 32:1). God's eternal blessings begin with the forgiveness of our sins. Jesus was forsaken by God so that we might be forgiven by God.

"We wait in hope for the Lord" (Psalm 33:20). The forgiveness of our sins is just the beginning of God's eternal blessings. There is more to come. We look forward to being with the Lord forevermore.
