We did not find Jesus. He found us.

In the Christian life, we will get nowhere if we start with ourselves. We cannot even begin the journey of faith if we do not begin by looking away from ourselves to Jesus Christ, our Saviour. Before our journey even begins, there is Jesus’ journey towards us. He “came “to seek and to save the lost” (Luke  19:10). Before He came to us, we were lost. We did not find Him. He found us.
