"“Abba, Father,” he said, “everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.”" (Mark 14:36).
Doing
the will of God wasn't easy for Jesus. It won't be easy for us. It's
always better to do God's will rather than insisting on getting our own
way. For Jesus, there was more than crucifixion. There was resurrection.
Whatever may lie ahead of us, may we never forget this - God is our
loving, heavenly Father, and he has great things planned for us: "the one who raised the Lord Jesus from the dead will also raise us with Jesus" (2 Corinthians 4:14).
