"Peter followed Him at a distance" (Mark 14:54).
Following Jesus at a distance - this is always a dangerous thing to do. Before long, Peter was denying that he even knew Jesus (Mark 14:66-72).

"Always be joyful in the Lord ... I know how to live in poverty or prosperity" (Philippians 4:4,12).In the Lord - This is the important thing. Poverty with the Lord is better than prosperity without Him.
