Sometimes, we contrast 'the God of the
Old Testament' and 'the God of the New Testament.' We speak about 'the
God of law' and 'the God of love.' If we think that 'love' only began
with the start of the New Testament, we need to read God's Word more
carefully. Here, we are in the Old Testament. What do we find? We find
love - the love of God, the God of love.
